Our
Story

David, Roma and Kirsty Broadbent
Hello
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and we look forward to welcoming you in person to the Rainbow Hill Community Hub whenever you would like to pop in.
David and Kirsty took over the building just before covid so we had a slight delay in being able to open the Hub to the general public.

Since the late 1980's the Broadbent family have been involved in providing specialist care supporting vulnerable deaf autistic adults in both a residential care and in people’s homes throughout Worcestershire. David's parents Roma and Ted set up a residential home in 1989.
The range of services has evolved over the years with the opening of the Hub it allows us more space for our service users to engage with the wider community.
Our People
Kirsty
Kirsty is very creative and a strong promoter of community-based projects. She loves to knit and crochet and that is what inspired her to start Stitch Kit.
In recent years she has played a key role in creating the annual theme for the Worcester Show.
With her person-centred approach she thrives on the challenge of finding new ways of making a meaningful difference to people’s lives.

Rachel
Rachel has worked with Kirsty since 2019, although her job title is Retail & Workshop Assistant, she does much more than that.
She's very creative and can turn her hand to all types of crafting, she's highly organised and loves planning events. She does a great job at keeping Kirsty in check, to be frank with you they are a real double act!

Rachel is the President of the Rainbow WI and in her spare time she enjoys baking and spending time outdoors with her children.
